Sensei Thomas Evans has trained under Hanshi Larry, Shihan Angelo, Shihan Jon, and the other masters of the system for over 14 years. Sensei Tom started training in the martial arts at age four and has been actively training his whole life.  He currently holds black belts in three different systems and the highest being a 3rd degree black belt in Sullivan’s American Kenpo.  Sensei Tom was ranked number one by the New England Karate Commission in the year of 2000 for Jr. Black Belt sparring, forms, and self defense and is well known for his tournament background. He has been trusted by Hanshi Larry, Shihan Angelo and Shihan Jon to continue the tradition of excellence here in Lincoln as the head instructor, program director, and manager. Sensei Tom has a level three instructor certification from the USA Karate systems. He has been an influential positive role model for children and adults of all ages in the Martial Arts community, and along with Shihan Jon are always looking for new ways to improve the teaching methods for himself and all of the staff here at USA KARATE in Lincoln. Sensei Tom currently attends the University of Rhode Island as a full time student and is working on his bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
